Man Charged In West End Rite-Aid Shooting
Police arrested a man for shooting a security guard at the West End Rite-Aid and an earlier robbery at the same store.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police say the man who shot a security guard at the West End Rite Aid earlier this month had previously robbed the store.
Detectives say Dionte Breedlove, 23, shot and critically wounded 22-year-old Garion Bogard at the pharmacy October 9. Bogard was working as an unarmed security guard when Breedlove shot him early that morning during an attempted robbery, according to police.

Police said Breedlove told the store's clerks he should "shoot both of you for moving slow" during the robbery, but it's not clear why he shot Bogard.
Breedlove is also charged with a robbery at the store September 14.
