Man In Dress Robs Nashville Bank

Police found a wig, dress and scarf in an alley shortly after the robbery of a North Nashville bank.

NASHVILLE, TN — A man in a dress robbed a North Nashville bank Friday afternoon, according to Metro Police.

At 4:15 p.m. Friday, the man entered the SunTrust branch on D.B. Todd Boulevard, handing the teller a demand note which indicated he had a gun. After the teller complied, the thief fled on foot.

The police found a dress, wig and scarf in a nearby alley shortly after the robbery.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
