Man Found Dead After Bullet-Riddled Car Crashes On I-24

A man was found shot in the head inside a crashed car pock-marked with bullet holes on Interstate 24.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police responding to a 3 a.m. crash at Interstate 24 and Briley Parkway Wednesday found something beyond a wreck.

The crashed car on the off-ramp from I-24 was riddled with bullet holes, the driver had been shot in the head and his female passenger was injured.

The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The woman, also at Vanderbilt, was shot in the arm and is in serious condition.
