Man Held Up Near Vanderbilt

Two men robbed a man at gunpoint near the Vanderbilt University campus Wednesday night.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Two men assaulted and robbed a man near Vanderbilt University Wednesday night, according to Metro Police.

The accuser told police two people held him at gunpoint, then pushed him to the ground and stole his wallet and other possessions shortly before 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at 18th Avenue South and Horton Avenue.

The attackers then ran away from campus. Both Vanderbilt University and Metro police responded.
