Man Shot While Driving On Interstate Near Nashville Airport
A man is in critical condition after being shot several times while driving on I-40 near the airport, Metro Nashville Police say.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot while driving near the Nashville International Airport.
Metro Police said the man was on Interstate 40 near the Briley Parkway exit around 2:30 a.m. when someone from another car shot into his Nissan Maxima several times.

The man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Police have very limited information and lack a suspect or vehicle description. They also do not know if the 21-year-old was targeted or if it was a road rage situation.
