Men Banned From Melrose Kroger Try Robbing It: Police
Two men previously banned from the Melrose Kroger tried robbing it at gunpoint early Wednesday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Two men who had previously been banned from the Melrose Kroger for shoplifting probably are not getting that prohibition lifted after being arrested for an attempted armed robbery early Wednesday.
The pair were spotted by a store employee and confronted. According to police, one of the men pulled a gun and said "Don't make me rob you." Metro Police responded to the Franklin Road store and said they saw one of the men discard the gun inside the store before fleeing.
The men were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, public intoxication, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated.
