Metro Schools Closing Early Monday

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Nashville Schools will close early Monday due to the expected severe weather.

With storms expected to arrive in the afternoon, ramping up with possible hail and tornadoes around dismissal time, the district said schools will close three-and-a-half-hours after the school day began.

In other words, schools which open at 7 a.m. will dismiss at 10:30, those with 8 a.m. starts at 11:30 and 9 a.m. starting-schools at 12:30 p.m.
