N.C. Man Arrested In Nashville With Shotgun, Detailed Notes
Nashville police say a North Carolina man was arrested in a stolen car with a shotgun and highly detailed notes on businesses and residents.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a North Carolina man Sunday in a stolen car with a shotgun and a notebook full of detailed notes on businesses and residents.
According to the arrest report for Collin Bouffard, Metro Police were called on a report of a man sitting in a car "for an extended period of time." Bouffard told police he was driving from North Carolina to Colorado for a friend's wedding. Police said the plates on the car came back to a rental car from the Raleigh Durham Airport and not the car Bouffard was driving. Investigators said the car had also been reported stolen.
Officers found a shotgun with saw marks on the barrel, made in an effort to shorten it contrary to state law, according to the affidavit. They said they also found rubber gloves, screw drivers, saws, a power drill and binoculars.
