Nashville Area Weather Forecast: A Frosty Weekend?

A wet and warm Friday across the Midstate will give way to a much, much cooler weekend, with patchy frost possible Saturday and Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Those who enjoy warm weather should soak it in this weekend, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Those who prefer cooler temperatures should just be patient, as forecasters predict a steep drop-off come Monday.

Friday: Increasingly clouds, then a 40 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., a high of 71. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. Showers after dark, low of 41.

Saturday: A 40 percent showers before 1 p.m., then partly sunny and much cooler, high of 48. Partly cloudy overnight with patchy frost, low of 35.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, high of 52. Winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust to 25 mph. Mostly clear in the evening with patchy frost, low of 35.
