Rain and maybe thunderstorms roll in for the weekend across the Midstate.
NASHVILLE, TN — The rainy pattern will return to Middle Tennessee for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s with lows in the 40s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers after noon, high of 55. Cloudy overnight with a 40 percent chance of showers after midnight, low of 45.
Saturday: A 60 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy, high of 59. A 90 percent chance of showers and storms in the evening, low of 47.

Sunday: A 70 percent chance of showers, high of 53. Winds of 5 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy after dark with a 30 percent chance of showers, low of 34.
