Nashville Area Weather Forecast: Snow To Start, Spring To Finish

Snow and cool air greet the week across Middle Tennessee, but spring roars back before the weekend.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A bit of snow rings in the work week, but spring returns by Friday, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Chilly highs will give way to temperatures back in the upper 60s by the end of the week.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of snow after 7 a.m., then clearing, high of 52. Winds of 15 mph could gust to 25 mph. Partly cloudy overnight, low of 31. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, high of 48. Partly cloudy after dark, low of 28.

Wednesday: Sunny, high of 47. Mostly clear after sundown, low of 30.

Thursday: Sunny and warmer, high of 59. Partly cloudy in the evening, low of 43.

Friday: Partly sunny and much warmer, with a 30 percent chance of showers, high of 68. A 50 percent chance of showers overnight, low of 53.
