Nashville Area Weather Forecast: Stormy Saturday Brings Cool Down

It'll be warm and wet to start the weekend across Middle Tennessee, but the winds will shift and cold air rushes in.

NASHVILLE, TN — A warm but rainy Saturday will usher in a cool Sunday across Middle Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. South winds that will keep temperatures in the 60s Friday and Saturday will turn to the north early Sunday morning, dropping temperatures to seasonal levels.

Friday: Mostly sunny, a high of 63. Mostly cloudy and breezy in the evening, low of 55. Winds of 10 to 15 mph will increase to 15 to 20 mph after midnight, with gusts up to 30 mph.

Saturday: An 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, high of 65. Winds of 15 to 20 mph could gust to 35 mph. An 80 percent chance of showers and storms overnight with winds shifting around to the north to drop temperatures, low of 36. Winds of 10 to 20 mph could gust to 30 mph.
