Nashville Area Weather Forecast: Tropical Storm Nate Brings Rain, Storms
Persistent rain with some storms will make for a soggy Middle Tennessee for much of the week.

NASHVILLE, TN — Tropical Storm Nate will continue its quick push inland, bringing plenty of rain and some storms to the area, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. What Nate won't bring is cooler temperatures. Highs will stick in the 80s through at least the end of the week, even as things start drying out Wednesday and Thursday. Monday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers, with storms possible in the afternoon, high of 84. A 70 percent chance of showers overnight with thunderstorms possible after 2 a.m., low of 67.
Tuesday: A 70 percent chance of showers and storms, a high of 80. A 70 percent chance of showers and storms after sundown, particularly before 8 p.m., low of 65.

Wednesday: Cloudy to start, then clearing, high of 75. Clouds increase in the evening, low of 54.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, high of 76. Mostly clear after sundown, low of 55.
