Nashville Fire Captain Arrested For Arson
The TBI says a Nashville Fire Department captain set his own home on fire.

WHITE BLUFF, TN — A Nashville Fire Department captain set his own home on fire, according the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
A grand jury indicted Jeffrey Todd Neely, 48, for arson and insurance fraud October 18. He was arrested Tuesday.

Neely's White Bluff home caught fire Sept. 5. The TBI and the Tennessee Fire Investigation Service began an investigation two days later, determining that Neely himself set the home ablaze.
Neely was booked into Dickson County Jail on a $50,000 bond. NFD placed him on administrative leave.
