A man has "messed with machinery" at Bicentennial Mall, littered at the Batman Building and vandalized Tootsie's all in the last two weeks.

NASHVILLE, TN — A 25-year-old man has spent the past two weeks making trouble at some iconic Nashville locations, according to Metro Police.

Legakes' first run-in came early on the morning of September 21 when officers said he was "sitting on a public trashcan and kicking at people as they walked by." He was charged with public intoxication.

Early the next morning, police were called to the Second Avenue Hooter's on a complaint that Legakes was "causing problems." When they arrived, he was allegedly trying to make his way back inside. He was again charged with public intox.

Later that same day, according to a police report "a State Parks officer found him messing with some machinery" at Bicentennial Mall and refused to leave, ultimately resulting in a criminal trespassing charge.

On September 25, Legarkes allegedly took off all his clothes outside of the Metro Police South Precinct on Harding Place and then crawled into a drainpipe, from which he had to be extracted by Nashville Fire personnel. That day, he was charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.

Finally, on September 30, he was first observed "tossing trash" at the AT&T Building on Commerce Street and was told to vacate the premises, but soon thereafter, police received a call from Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. Once officers arrive, Legarkes was literally taking things to the next level, according to a police report.

"The suspect was seen climbing the wall mounted heater on the front of (Tootsies)," according to an affidavit. "The suspect then stood on the heater and broke off two lighting fixtures, pulled wiring from the building, and tried to throw them to the ground where officers and pedestrians were. ... Next, the suspect climbed to the second story ledge and moved along the where he broke the artificial grass / pigeon deterrent."

Legarkes was arrested on the roof of Tootsie's, though, in fairness, he is probably not the first, or last, person to leave the Tootsie's roof in handcuffs.

He was charged with vandalism, criminal trespass, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He remains jailed on those charges.
