Nashville Man Gets 90 Years For Sexually Abusing Relative
A 63-year-old Nashville man sexually abused a young relative for five years and will spend 90 years behind bars.

NASHVILLE, TN — A 63-year-old Nashville man received a 90 year sentence with no chance of parole after a conviction of sexually abusing a young relative for five years.
Luis Alvarez-Avila was convicted of nine counts of aggravated sexual battery. Investigators said he began the abuse when the victim was 5-years-old and continued it for five years.
“What he did changed this little girl’s life forever but not once did he apologize,”Assistant District Attorney Tammy Meade told Fox 17. “Alvarez-Avila wanted sympathy for himself but fortunately, the court saw otherwise.”
