Metro Nashville Mayor Megan Barry pleaded guilty to theft over $10,000 Tuesday, prompting her resignation.

NASHVILLE, TN -- In the climax of six weeks of scandal, Metro Nashville Mayor Megan Barry pleaded guilty to theft in Davidson County Criminal Court Tuesday.
She will be put on three years of unsupervised probation, will pay $11,000 in restitution and will resign as part of her plea agreement.
