Nashville Narcan Patients Skyrocket
The Nashville Fire Department says there's been a dramatic increase in the number of Narcan doses its administered.

NASHVILLE, TN -- After a record year for Narcan doses in 2017, Nashville is on pace to shatter that record in 2018, according to the Nashville Fire Department.
Metro EMS has administered the nasal spray, which can often save the life of someone who has overdosed on opioids, to 636 people through the end of May. There were 920 doses administered in all of 2017.

In May, there were 155 Narcan patients, a 154 percent increase over May 2017.
