Nashville Police Make Arrest With Help Of Stolen Car's OnStar
Using the vehicle's onboard tracking system, Metro Police tracked a stolen truck to the Bordeaux YMCA early Monday.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police were able to track down a stolen truck early Monday using the vehicle's OnStar system.
After the owner reported the truck missing, officers utilized OnStar's Stolen Vehicle Tracking feature, which provides location, direction and speed information. The truck was found at the Bordeaux YMCA, according to police.
As officers approached the car around 1 a.m. Monday, a man leapt out and ran into a nearby treeline where he was arrested.
