Nashville Police Nab Serial Bank Robbery Suspect
A 32-year-old man, suspected in connection with at least five Midstate bank robberies, was arrested Saturday.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested a 32-year-old man following a bank robbery on Bell Road Saturday and believe he is a serial bank robber that's struck banks in Nashville and Smyrna.
Investigators say Jason Phillip Xenos went into the Bell Road Fifth Third Branch Saturday morning, handed the teller a demand note and then fled after he got the cash. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
Detectives suspect Xenos in four other Nashville bank robberies and one in Smyrna.
