- CMA Fest returns to Nashville for its 50th year, causing a lot of traffic and travel delays in the downtown area. There are multiple road closures beginning Jun. 5 through Jun. 12. Closures include Rep John Lewis Way, Titans Way, Broadway, Russell Street, and many more. View the link for the full list. (WKRN News 2)
- At about 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning, Jun. 5, emergency crews responded to a train derailment in Nashville. According to reports, a locomotive tank derailed in the Radnor Rail Yard at Veritas Street and Seaboard Drive causing a fuel leak. Nashville Fire Department officials said crews contained the leak and currently there are no evacuations or threats to the area. (WSMV)
- On Sunday, Jun. 4, Nashville first responders recovered the body of a missing person in Percy Priest Lake. Witnesses called 911 after a person went into the water and was not seen for 15 minutes. This is the third body in less than two weeks that responders have found in the lake. (WKRN)

- On Sunday, Jun. 4, State Representative Bill Beck (D-Nashville) unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack at age 61. Many of his fellow Tennessee officials have responded including Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton, who said, "Beck was a dedicated servant and a powerful voice for the City of Nashville." (WSMV)

- On Jun. 5, Metro police arrested a man after he ran from a crash on I-24 in the Joelton area of Nashville. According to the police report, the driver tried to hide under a bridge after the car, which was reported stolen, rolled over. (WKRN)
