Nashville Women's Shelter Evacuated During Fire
A dryer sparked a blaze at the Nashville Rescue Mission's women's shelter and a man was found trespassing during the fire.

NASHVILLE, TN — The Nashville Rescue Mission's women's shelter evacuated early Thursday after a dryer sparked a small fire in the North Nashville facility.
Firefighters were called to NRM's Family Life Center around 2:30 Thursday morning.

Residents said that during the evacuation they saw a man entering the shelter, which bars men and is for women and children only.
Once the minor fire was extinguished, Metro Police swept the building, found the man and said he will likely be charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
