Patch: Tell Patch a little bit about your organization.

Alignment Nashville: Alignment Nashville works to improve the education and health of our community's youth by providing tools that bring the community together for more effective results than we could each accomplish on our own.

Patch: How does your organization help to strengthen the local community?

Alignment Nashville: We believe that no single organization, agency, program or service can solve our community's most pressing problems. Alignment Nashville provides a way for diverse partners - schools, business, not-for-profits, faith communities, and more - to work together to deliver more effective results than any of us could accomplish working alone.

Patch: What is the biggest struggle your organization faces?

Alignment Nashville: Our biggest struggle is ensuring we are staying focused on long-term, systemic change, as opposed to short-term, incremental change. That is hard work, and we have to make sure we are not settling for quick wins when we need to be focused on long-term success.

Patch: What do you hope for the future of your nonprofit?

Alignment Nashville: Our greatest hope is that we won't be needed anymore, because ALL of our children are healthy and well-educated.
