Here are the top three stories today in Nashville:
- A Nashville mom discovered her baby boy "cold to touch" and not breathing, as new details emerge in the three-months-old's death following court filings by the Tennessee Department of Human Services. Anne Jordan, the caregiver, is under investigation for illegally performing services. The Tennessee Department of Human Services has filed a temporary injunction that forbids Jordan from providing any services without a license. The infant was declared deceased at the hospital after his mother found him and seven other children unattended. (WZTV)
- Gov. Bill Lee signed a $3.3 billion transportation bill aimed at reducing congestion. The plan is to add more toll lanes on state roads to lessen the traffic during peak times. The goal is to allow for more consistent travel speeds which can be up to 50 mph during the busy parts of the day. (WSMV 4)
- A scary scene unfolded at Nashville International Airport on Sunday when the smell of a noxious odor was prevalent. At 2:42 p.m., Concourse C was evacuated before the fire department conducted an air quality test to determine that there were no foul substances at risk. The concourse reopened shortly after the test was completed. (Nashville International Airport)

From my notebook:
- The price at the pump is going up in Tennessee. Gas prices have risen for the fourth straight week in the state with the average price per gallon sitting at $3.38. Despite the increase, this pales in comparison to the rest of the country as the state remains below the national average. (WZTV)
- The summer music scene was kicked off over the weekend at Nissan Stadium. Luke Combs played to a sold-out crowd on Saturday. Prior to Combs taking the stage, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Brent Cobb, and Flatland Cavalry all performed. (musicrow.com)
- Did you notice these signs while driving? Interstates across Tennessee have issued new work zone safety messages and lit bridges orange as part of the annual National Work Zone Awareness Week. The campaign is running now through Apr. 21 to increase awareness and safety in project areas. (WKRN)
