A 33-year-old man whose car was allegedly stolen is charged with aggravated assault after shooting the purported teenage thieves.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 33-year-old man faces three assault charges after police say he shot at a group of people who had apparently stolen his car Sunday night.

Investigators say Antonio Johnson followed his car in another vehicle after it was stolen in South Nashville and then, at 10:30 Sunday night, fired a semi-automatic pistol into the car at Fourth Avenue and Lafayette Street after attempting to ram it a number of times.

At least one teen in the car was struck and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
