Panhandler Pulls Knife On Nashville Kroger Employee: Police

Metro Police said a panhandler at the Monroe Street Kroger got aggressive with a store employee, pulling a knife and threatening her.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A panhandler pulled a knife and threatened a Nashville grocery store employee Saturday night, Metro Police say.

According to an affidavit, an employee of the Monroe Street Kroger approached Tracy Mahr, 49, who was panhandling outside of the store.

As she approached, Mahr reportedly "displayed a knife in her right hand, waived it in the direction of the victim and verbally stated 'B----, I'll cut you.,'" according to the affidavit.

Mahr is charged with aggressive panhandling, aggravated criminal trespassing and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
