Police Investigate Threats Against Midstate Schools
A Craigslist threat against Cheatham County schools and a Snapchat threat in Lebanon have heightened security.

ASHLAND CITY, TN — Threats against two Middle Tennessee school systems are under investigation with an 18-year-old behind bars for one of them.
Lebanon Police arrested Cody Tomlin, 18, Sunday after he allegedly posted a video to Snapchat threatening to kill two Lebanon High School students. In the video, police say Tomlin names the students and holds up rounds of ammunition indicating which bullets are for which target. Rifles can also be seen in the video, according to investigators.
Detectives said Tomlin admitted to making the video, but that it was made in jest and he had no intention of following through. Tomlin is jailed on two counts of harassment.
