Retired Predator Mike Fisher Named Christmas Parade Grand Marshal
Recently retired Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher will serve as grand marshal for Nashville's Dec. 4 Christmas parade.

NASHVILLE, TN — Former Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher will serve as the grand marshal for the city's Christmas parade.
The 64th Annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade will step-off at 8:30 a.m., Dec. 2. Fisher, who retired this summer after 17 seasons in the National Hockey League in Ottawa and Nashville, will join the list of luminaries who have served as grand marshal, including Kelly Clarkson, Alex Haley, Wilma Rudolph and 39 country music acts.
Proceeds from the event benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt as well as the Piedmont Natural Gas Share the Warmth program.

This year's parade, as part of an apparently new tradition of changing the route annually, will begin at Public Square Park, head down First Avenue and then turn up Broadway.
