Serial Nashville Bank Robber Strikes Again

Metro Police and the FBI believe the same man has robbed at least three banks across Metro.

NASHVILLE, TN — The FBI and Metro Nashville police detectives believe a serial bank robber is working through the city.

Thursday at 10:40 a.m., a man robbed Bank of America’s 7043 Highway 70 South branch.

The robber gave the teller a robbery demand note and after the teller complied, the suspect fled on foot but detectives believe he ultimately got into a getaway vehicle.

Investigators believe he is the same man who on Monday robbed Fifth Third Bank’s 5550 Old Hickory Boulevard branch and on October 23rd robbed the U.S. Bank’s branch inside the Donelson Kroger at 143 McGavock Pike.

The suspect is a white man who appears to be in his late 20s or 30s. He is approximately 6’2” tall with a thin build. He has brown hair, a mustache, and goatee. He wore a green knit cap, green long sleeved shirt, and eyeglasses.
