Teen Shot Outside Pearl-Cohn High School
A 17-year-old is in critical condition following a shooting outside Pearl-Cohn High School Friday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 16-year-old is in critical condition after being shot five times outside Pearl-Cohn High School Friday afternoon.
Metro Nashville Public Schools locked down the school in North Nashville after shots were fired nearby shortly after dismissal at 2:30 p.m. The teenager, DeMario Crowder, was shot near the intersection of 26th Avenue North and Albion Street. The Nashville Fire Department said Crowder was in critical condition on the scene and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Police said a suspect has not been apprehended.

Crowder is a former Pearl-Cohn student now attending W.A. Bass.
