Metro Police said a toddler was shot in the leg during an argument between his father and his mother's new boyfriend Thursday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A toddler is recovering after he was grazed by a bullet during an argument between his father and his mother's current boyfriend Thursday night.
The boy's mother told Metro Police that her ex-boyfriend - the boy's father - was meeting her around 8:30 Thursday night to drop-off their son when he and her current boyfriend began arguing. She told police the ex-boyfriend then pulled a handgun and shot at the current boyfriend, missing and grazing the toddler's leg.
The little boy was taken to Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt with non-life-threatening injuries. MNPD Youth Services detective responded but no one has been arrested yet.
