TSU Student Poisoned Roommate With Toilet Water Ruse: Police

A TSU student replaced her roommate's bottled water with water from the toilet, sickening her, police say.

NASHVILLE, TN — Adapting to life with a roommate is an essential part of the college experience. Forced interaction with a person from a different place with a different background and outlook can be as educational as any lecture.

If troubles arise, there are plenty of ways to address them: talking it out, taking problems to an RA, or craftily constructing a class schedule to minimize time together. No one, however, recommends solving conflict with the method allegedly used by Tennessee State University student Tierni Williams: gradual poisoning with toilet water.

Over the course of several weeks, according to an affidavit, Williams' roommate began suffering from unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite and diarrhea. The roommate eventually saw a SnapChat video which allegedly shows Williams filling her roommate's water bottles with water from the toilet, laughing and saying "the b---- is gonna get sick from this, and this is some nasty s---."
