Woman Bangs Head On Patrol Car While Resisting Arrest: Police
A woman under arrest for shoplifting, among other things, bashed her head into the rear glass of a patrol car, Metro Police say.

NASHVILLE, TN -- In an apparent attempt to resist arrest, a Nashville woman banged her head on the back glass of a patrol car, according to Metro Police.
Officers responded to a trespassing complaint at the Trinity Lane TigerMarket Sunday, where the manager said a woman, later identified as Mariah Nolen, had been in and out of the store all day, having earlier tried to steal $10 worth of merchandise and aggressively hounding customers for money.

Meanwhile, a woman came into the store saying that Nolen opened her car while she was sitting it. Apparently, the presence of a person in the car startled Nolen who hurriedly asked for money and then ran away.
The officers took Nolen into custody, but that said as they were doing so, she began loudly shouting obscenities and ultimately smashed her head against the "back glass" of the patrol car, according to the affidavit, damaging it.

Nolen is charged with two counts of criminal trespassing, theft under $1,000, aggressive panhandling, vandalism, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and burglary of a motor vehicle.
