Would-Be Burglars Ram Truck Into Market, Get Stuck, Run Off
A pair of men rammed a truck into a Priest Lake market in an robbery bid, but couldn't make it inside.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A pair of burglars were hoist on their own petard in Priest Lake early Monday morning when the truck they used as a battering ram to bash through a front window got stuck.
Metro Police said two men drove the truck through the front of Hobson Tobacco and Beer around 1:30 a.m., but didn't fully penetrate the store. Furthermore, the truck wouldn't move.
The men fled on foot and empty-handed before police arrived.
