Students at Merryhill Donate Gifts to Local Children in Need

Students collected toys, clothes and personal care items to benefit 125 local children supported by Fort Worth Child Protective Services

Students at Merryhill Preschool, Elementary & Middle School in Arlington recently donated gifts to the Fort Worth Child Protective Services’ (CPS) Angel Tree program. Over the past few weeks, students and their families collected toys, clothes and personal care items to benefit 125 local children in need during the holidays. At the end of the collection, students delivered the gifts to the organization and spoke with a representative to learn about how their donation will help children in their community. This is the 33rd year the school has participated in the organization’s Angel Tree program. Through this initiative, students learn the importance of giving back, especially during the holiday season.
