• These Tarrant cities to clean up litter, increase recycling thanks to thousands in state funds (fortworthreport.org) — Arlington will receive about $87,700 in state-funded regional grants to expand recycling access at older apartment complexes that currently aren’t required to offer it, aiming to cut trash going into the city’s busy landfill. Mansfield is also getting $75,000 to launch its first litter abatement program, targeting high-trash corridors starting in January.
