  1. Proudly representing Texas at the Universal Cheerleaders Association's national competition in Florida, Cedar Park High School will be one of many schools competing! It's a pretty big deal that Cedar Park's cheer team will be there, as each team member works tirelessly on their routines. To view the full competition's roster click here. (KVUE.com)
  2. Cedar Park Police Department's Sgt. Jessie Campbell participated in the Black History Month Q&A at Cedar Park High School. Campbell was the department's first Black police officer in 1994. He's worked in every division of the department aside from recruiting. "Most recently he has been working closely with LISD as Cedar Park Police’s Community Outreach/School Resource Officers."   3. On Feb. 7, Leander Mayor Christine DeLisle extended the Jan. 31 Declaration of Local Disaster for another 30 days. During this time, the declaration can be terminated before the expiration date or renewed if necessary. Citizens can view the declaration document here.
