Open Auditions Held For Melodrama Scheduled In Leander
Way Off Broadway Community Players announce open auditions at Bledsoe Park for their presentation of "Bad Medicine" coming this fall.

LEANDER, TX—Leander neighbors are invited to Way Off Broadway Community Players open auditions for their annual melodrama, "Bad Medicine" by Kris Thompson and directed by Stephen Fleming, at Robin Bledsoe Amphitheater in Bledsoe Park located at 601 S. Bagdad Rd., Leander TX.
Happening Saturday, Aug. 7 and Sunday, Aug. 8 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., those interested in auditioning will take part in a cold reading of the script and may attend one or both sessions. Auditions will read individuals or with others present, and are asked to bring a resumé and headshots if available, but not required.
"Bad Medicine" will run at the Bledsoe Amphitheater for the weekends of October 15 & 16 and October 22 & 23 at 7 p.m., with 3 p.m. matinees scheduled on October 17 and October 24. All ages are invited to audition, and participants are encouraged to bring their calendar to identify schedule conflicts with rehearsals and performances. Actors must be able to project vocally, and auditionees are encouraged to practice their mannerisms and accents to reflect the Western melodrama and remember to have a good time!
