WilCo Proposes On-Site Sewage Facilities Rules

A virtual meeting is scheduled next week to present the proposed rules and secure input from the public on Dec. 9.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County is proposing the adoption of rules for on-site sewage facilities in Williamson County, officials confirmed Wednesday.

To that end, a virtual meeting is scheduled next week to present the proposed rules and secure input from the public. The virtual public meeting will take place at www.wilco.org/ossf next Wednesday (Dec. 9) starting at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 5 p.m.

Project staff will give a presentation which will be pre-recorded and will include both audio and visual components during the virtual public hearing, officials said in an advisory. The public is invited to make comments on the proposed rules, officials added, and all comments must be received on or before Wednesday, Dec. 23.

Written comments from the public may be submitted by email to publicinformation@wilco.org or by mail to Williamson County Public Information Office, 710 S. Main St., Suite 101, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Verbal comments may be submitted by leaving a voicemail at (512) 943-1195. Responses to comments received will be available online at www.wilco.org/OSSF once they have been prepared.
