MAGNOLIA, TX — Two Magnolia Junior High School students were arrested Wednesday after one of the students brought a gun onto campus and gave it to another student, police said. Deputies with the Montgomery County Constables office were called to the campus in the 31100 block of Nichols Sawmill Road by district officials.
Deputies learned that a witness had seen the boys with the gun. The boys were brought to the office and a 9mm semiautomatic handgun was found inside one of the backpacks.
The students said one of the boys brought the handgun to school and traded it for a vaping device.
The students told deputies they didn’t intend to harm anyone at the school or any other students.
