2 Women Arrested For Prostitution At Conroe Massage Parlor

CONROE, TX — Two women were arrested at a Conroe massage parlor and charged with prostitution. Police arrested Xiaomei Yao, 47, and Xiaoyan Wang, 44, while serving a search warrant at the Green Tree Thai Massage on June 4.

Investigators in Montgomery County said their office had received reports of possible criminal or suspicious activity for several months.

The sheriff's office Organized Crime Unit launched an investigation that began with licensing inspections.

The inspections revealed that the Green Tree Thai Massage has a massage establishment license and employed both licensed massage therapists and non-licensed therapists.

On June 4, 2019, detectives served a search warrant on the Green Tree Thai Massage and arrested Wang and Yao for prostitution, a class B misdemeanor.

Both women were later released on bail. This is still an active investigation and more charges are possible in the future.
