Montgomery County residents can root for hometown hero Biles, who hails from Spring. Here is a list of other Houston athletes in the Games.

SPRING, TX — The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are fast approaching, and Montgomery County will have a superstar representative from its own backyard competing for Team USA.
Simone Biles, a Spring native widely considered one of the best gymnasts of all time, will look to add to her five Olympic medals — four gold and one bronze — in the 2020 Olympic Games, which were delayed one year because of the coronavirus pandemic. In her career, Biles has won 30 medals, including 23 gold, representing the United States at the two major international competitions: the Olympics and World Championships.
Biles trains at World Champions Centre in Spring, just north of Highway 99 in Montgomery County.
