Child, 12, Charged With Brother’s Murder, Police Said
Police have charged a 12-year-old child with murder in the shooting death of a 10-year-old boy.

CONROE, TX -- A 12-year-old child has been charged with killing his 10-year-old sibling, investigators said. According to police, the boy was shot to death at his home in Conroe Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were called to a home in the 10700 block of Stidhman Road, at about 2:40 p.m. for a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found the boy with a gunshot wound in his chest, and immediately started CPR until paramedics arrived at the home.

The boy was rushed to Conroe Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators detained the boy’s sibling at the home, and charged the child with murder.

The child is in the custody of juvenile authorities, officials said.
The shooting is under investigation.
