Conroe to Hold Fifth Annual Arts Award Ceremony
Conroe's Fifth Annual Montie awards ceremony will be on Aug. 13. The awards recognize Conroe's arts community.
CONROE, TX -- Shine up your old brown shoes and put on a brand new shirt, the Monties are back. The annual awards event recognizes the best of Conroe's arts and theater scene.
The awards show will be at 8 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Crighton Theater, 234 N. Main St, in Conroe.
The Monties are like the Tony Awards, only local. With recognition going to the best musicals, dramas, actors, costumes, directors, bit parts, etc. of the 2015-2016 season.

The night will be sound tracked by a 17-piece band playing beloved show tunes with vocal help from some of the most talented singers in Montgomery County.
