Conroe ISD Wins Transparency Award
The Conore Independent School District won a state award for procurement transparency.
CONROE, TX — The Conroe Independent School District is the first local governmental entity to receive a Contract and Procurement Star award from Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar's office.
The district received the award because its websites show a commitment to accountability and transparency in contracting activities. The award is part of Hegar's Transparency Star program, which recognizes, cities counties and school districts that provide easy online access to financial data.
