La Torretta Sells Off Everything Pre-Margaritaville

CONROE, TX — The owners of the La Torretta Resort and Spa on Lake Conroe are hosting a fire sale that includes furniture, art pieces, televisions and more. The public sale begins Thursday, and continues until everything is gone, resort officials said.

Earlier this year, representatives at La Torretta announced that the resort had been sold, and would become the site of Texas’ first Margaritaville Resort. The Jimmy Buffet-themed spot will be on 186 prime waterfront acres, and is projected to open in July 2020.

To prepare for the transformation, everything La Torretta is for sale at a bargain price. Shoppers came find a plethora of great deals, such as:

• 42-inch flat screen TVs
• Love seats
• Coffee tables
• Room sets that include nightstands, headboards, lamps, desk with chair, mirrors and artwork
• Linens and towels
• Bathroom fixtures
• Lobby and gift shop furnishings
• Appliances

All Items are priced, tagged and sold on an “as is, where is basis”. Payment by Cash, Visa, MC, Wire, Guaranteed Bank Checks Only..

Renovations are expected to begin later this summer. Once completed, Margaritaville Resort in Lake Conroe will feature rooms in a main 20-story hotel tower, as well as waterfront villas on the lake. Two of the existing restaurants will be converted into signature Margaritaville dining concepts — LandShark Bar & Grill and 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
