CONROE-MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Montgomery County voters cast their ballots Tuesday for board positions in New Caney ISD as well as city council seats in Splendora, Patton Village and Woodbranch Village.

With 100 percent of Montgomery County precincts reporting, two of three incumbents won re-election in the New Caney ISD Board of Trustees election.

Angela Hoffart Tompkins unseated incumbent Ricky Warwick in the race for Position 4. Wendy Sharp and Chad Turner won re-election to their seats over challengers Oscar Ramirez Jr. and Dennis Alters, respectively.

The races for mayor are all uncontested in Patton Village (Scott Anderson), Splendora (Dorothy Welch) and Woodbranch Village (Mike Tyson), but there are several contested city council races in those towns.

In Patton Village, incumbent William Reeves won re-election for City Council Position 5 over Stephanie Alcaraz, and Gary Longmire unseated incumbent David Young for the Position 1 seat.

Willie Ramey held off Alton "Scotty" DuLaney for re-election to his Position 1 seat on the Splendora City Council.

In the Woodbranch Village City Council races, Mark Kroll defeated incumbent Nancy Mulhern for Position 3, and incumbent Carey D. Porter won re-election to Position 5 over Julie Lobue.

  • Wendy Rae Allen Sharp: 1,481 (1,444 Montgomery, 37 Harris)

Board of Trustees, Position 4

  • Angela Hoffart Tompkins: 1,325 (1,289 Montgomery, 36 Harris)
  • Ricky Warwick: 893 (879 Montgomery, 14 Harris)

Board of Trustees, Position 5

  • Chad Turner: 1,225 (1,204 Montgomery, 21 Harris)
  • Dennis Alters: 965 (937 Montgomery, 25 Harris)
