Montgomery County Sheriff Accepting Applications for Citizens' Police Academy
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the upcoming citizens' police academy.

Conroe, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is still accepting applications for the upcoming citizens' police academy class, which starts August 11 and lasts until November 17.
The 15 week long class meets on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., there is one Saturday class. At the completion of the class participants will not be certified as peace officers, but they will receive insight into the services the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office provides.

During the class, participants will meet the men and women working for MCSO, learn about their specific units, training, mission and tools. Seats are limited to 35 students per class, and classes are only offered twice per year.
