CONROE, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announce this week that the county was awarded valuable training equipment as a result of an NRA Foundation grant.The grant provided five simunition rifle training bolts, and five Glock simunition conversion kits, officials said in a press release.The equipment will help provide reality-based training scenarios for deputies by using non-lethal marking cartridges.The grant was approved by the NRA Foundation Board of Trustees in April 2019.
