Police Searching For Man Who Stole Speakers From Porter Walmart

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is looking for this man who stole speakers and ratchet straps from a Porter Walmart on Saturday.

PORTER, TX — Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who stole two packages of marine combo speakers and a two pack of ratchet straps from a Walmart store over the weekend. The theft happened at about 8 a.m. Saturday at the Walmart store located at 23561 US Highway 59.

A Walmart Loss Prevention Associate told investigators they saw a man come into the store through the garden center and walk over the stores automotive department. The man, who was white, and wearing a baseball cap and a yellow safety vest, took two packages of marine combo speakers and a two pack of ratchet straps from the shelf.

The store associated said the man walked through the store and left through the garden center where he'd come into the store.

Several store employees asked for a receipt for the items as he ran from the store to a red pickup in the parking lot.

The man was wearing a white and black baseball cap with a yellow safety vest over a gray t-shirt and blue jeans. The vehicle he fled in appears to be a mid-1990’s model Nissan truck.
